Oxyrhynchus: A City and its Texts, Virtual Exhibition: Mosque of Zain el-Abidin

Mosque of Zain el-Abidin: 15th century

This ruined mosque was the object of rescue repairs by the Kuwaiti team in the 1980s. The building had deteriorated sadly since the 1950s view was taken. (Other views.)
